Front Air-Spring Suspension See the E-STORE CATEGORY The VariShock air-spring suspension system is a bolt-in, combination air spring and shock absorber that directly replaces the OEM coil springs and shocks. Air-spring systems are available with single- or double-adjustable valving and provide complete control over ride quality, handling performance and ride height. The VariShock air-spring patented design makes it the only fully adjustable, direct bolt-in air suspension for 1964-1970 Mustangs. System uses OEM or TCP spindle (TCP SPND-01).

VariShock Air-Spring
Given the available space and factory mounting positions, our sister company, VariShock set out to find the best product solution possible. The end result was a newly designed, combination air spring and shock absorber enabling complete ride control as well as adjustable ground clearance. When fully deflated, the vehicle rests 5-6” below stock ride height and can be raised to driving height at the push of a button. A compressor system is required for operation.

Single-Adjustable (SA) or Double-Adjustable (DA)
The patented VariShock air spring is available in QuickSet 1, single-adjustable (Q1) or QuickSet 2, double-adjustable (Q2) versions. VariShock Q1 features a 16-position, positive-click knob that adjusts overall resistance of the shock in both compression and rebound. VariShock Q2 features two, independent 16-position knobs enabling up to 256 different combinations of instant adjustment. One knob sets the bump (compression) range; the other sets rebound (extension). Each knob is laser-etched with directional arrows and “plus/minus” symbols that clearly indicate which direction achieves the desired adjustment. Additional arrows etched into the VariShock Q2 base reveal which knob sets bump, and which sets rebound. All adjustments are made in seconds, without removing or unbolting the shock.
