2001 Laguna Seca - NorCal SAAC Open Track
|
This year's NorCal SAAC "Winter Surprise" open track event was held at Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, CA. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend with weather in the mid-70's and not a cloud in the sky. TCP was in attendance with our good friend Don Pylman and his 1970 Boss 302. We had recently completed some final adjustments to Don's Coilover Kit and were eager to feel the results. Very stable and extremely flat in the corners. While watching the cars come around turn 3, our "Boss" was showing less body roll than many of the late model Mustangs on the track. Did we forget to mention that this "Boss" spends 95% of its life as a street driven vehicle? A huge THANK YOU goes out to the NorCal Shelby Club for putting on a great event with tons of track time.
