Mustang Last year I acquired and installed your manual rack and pinion steering in my '66 Mustang coupe. I was somewhat disappointed..although the wandering was gone, it just didn't feel like a $1,000 upgrade. Then this past weekend I replaced my front tires. They were BFG's, 235/R60/14. And they had been siped. They were replaced with BFG's again, but 205's this time. The fit of the 235's was marginal, and would rub in a corner with a bump. So I wanted to get rid of them although they still had plenty of wear. Man what a difference@! I don't know if it was the difference in sizing, or that the new ones are not siped. But it now steers like it has a $1,000 rack and pinion steering. 8^) Steering my happy-ass off! Michael Kiehl Austin, TX |
